BioPersonality:
Bellatrix. She's cold hearted, loyal only to her Master and her sister, married to a man who's almost gone...mind wise, and does not regret a thing.
Or so she claims.
She looks down on every single house in Hogwarts but her own, cannot stand to stay in the company of someone younger than 15 for longer than 10mins. The only animel she will tollarate is her own three foxes.
Bellatrix is pureblood, and has been raised with certian ... ideals. She believes that marrigages should be arranged, a women must take care of own appearince, there must be no public fighting. Naturally, Azkaban has scattered her brain. So, these ideals probally will be forgotten from time to time. She still is Slytherin at heart, and damned good at it. (A good example is how she managed to get Harry angry by using baby talk...a perfect way to get a teenage boy pissed. Treat him like a child.)
History:
Bellatrix was the firstborn of her family...followed by Andromeda, and then Narcissa.
Her father liked to keep her, her sisters and her two cousins Sirius and Regulus close. Bellatrix didn't like Sirius much as a little girl, he always liked to beat her in wizards chess, or tease her. He was her age, so he could easily do so.
As they all grew older, it became obvious that her father prefered Andromeda and Sirius out of the five children.
She, Narcissa and Regulas were sorted into Slytherin, and Andromeda and Sirius into Gryffindor. House pride was very important to her, and so her resentment grew towards Sirius when he and his little group of friends started to gang up on lone Slytherins at any given chance.
In her fifth year, she was intruduced to her future husband: Rudolphus Lestrange.
She was impressed. He was rich enough, presented himself well, and...was a bit of a looker. He was 6 years older, and already had a good job and a good position in society. What's more, he struck her as someone who had *power*.
After a year of 'courting', he intruduced her to his friends. One of them being the Lord Voldemort who did not reveal himself to her.
Towards the end of her sixth year, Voldemort approched her himself.
Months after graduation from Hogwarts, Bellatrix became Mrs Rudolphus Lestrange. And Death Eater.
Of course, Harry Potter's legenadry 'killing' of Lord Voldemort sent her into a fury. She successfully avoided capture and imprisonment in the immediate aftermath of Voldemort's fall, she led three other DEs and attempted to find and restore Voldemort, torturing the Longbottoms into madness for information. In the trial, she openly refused to recant her allegiance. She was given a life sentence in Azkaban, but escaped when the Dementors turned against the Ministry.
Bellatrix fought in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. She attempted to torture Ginny Weasley, but was blocked by the other D.A. members present; she succeeded in applying the Cruciatus Curse to Neville Longbottom, but he was rescued. She duelled with and killed Sirius Black, and was one of the few Death Eaters present to escape Dumbledore, rescued from under a statue from her Master.
